Hi, I’m Alyssa — the photographer behind Amara Muse Photography.

Photography has always been more than just taking pictures for me. It’s about connection, emotion, and capturing the moments that often pass too quickly. I’m drawn to the in-between moments: the quiet glances, genuine laughter, tender touches, and real-life magic that tells your story exactly as it is.

Based in southern Maine, I specialize in family, couples, lifestyle, portrait, and boudoir photography. Whether I’m documenting playful chaos with your kids, celebrating your love story, or creating empowering, confidence-boosting boudoir imagery, my goal is always the same — to make you feel comfortable, seen, and beautifully yourself.

My style leans toward natural, timeless, and emotion-filled imagery. I’ll guide you when you need it, give you space when you don’t, and create an experience that feels relaxed and fun rather than awkward or overly posed.
